Sophie is a young(ish) writer from the Cotswolds. She has recently earned an MA in Creative Writing from Oxford Brookes which she studied part-time alongside her day job in marketing.
Sophie is currently editing the second draft of her debut novel, Between Us. Dealing with themes of coercive control, toxic relationships, family secrets and betrayal, Between Us is a contemporary domestic suspense novel that will appeal to readers of Holly Seddon, Dorothy Koomson, and Louise O’Neil. After being awarded a place at Swanwick Writers’ Summer School on the TopWrite scheme for young writers, Sophie began writing short fiction and flash and has since had a number of pieces published in literary journals and anthologies. In 2018, her short story dealing with themes of child sexual exploitation, Live, Love, Laugh, was awarded second place in Writing Magazine’s Win Your Way to Swanwick competition.
